- ➤ The Northern Michigan Mutual Aid Task Force dive team conducted a mock ice rescue at Twin Lake and practiced on Boardman Lake Wednesday. - ➤ North Sky Raptor Sanctuary is raising funds with Grand Traverse County for a new state-of the art raptor hospital + community wildlife center at Camp Greilick that will serve as a hub for bird of prey rehabilitation, research and community education. Traverse City Record-Eagle

- ➤ Ice has formed on the upper cables of the Mackinac Bridge and may trigger closures in the coming days, prompting safety measures by the Michigan Department of Transportation and the Mackinac Bridge Authority.
