- ➤ Downtown Traverse City Association will host Community Canvas, a self-guided art walk at various retailers from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17. - ➤ United Way of Northwest Michigan closed its dental clinic (United We Smile) on Jan.2 in the Copper Ridge development amid staffing and capacity constraints. The organization notified patients and helped them find alternative dental care. Traverse City Record-Eagle
- ➤ North Country Community Mental Health (NCCMH) is offering free Mental Health First Aid training on Feb. 6, May 1, and Aug. 14, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Zoom. Funded by a Michigan DHHS grant, the course is open to residents in its six-county service area. UpNorthLive
