ECONOMY NEWS

  • Cherry Capital Airport recorded 49,249 passengers in February with a 2.3% increase from February 2025 + the year-to-date total dropped 1.3% after a slow January, as reported by the Northwest Regional Airport Authority board.  Traverse City Record-Eagle

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Traverse City Light & Power got board approval on Thursday to install a solar canopy and battery storage at its Hall Street Customer Service Center. The project (developed with KEEN Technical Solutions) will convert a parking lot into a renewable energy asset that gives live energy data for public use.  9&10 News
