- ➤ 9&10 News launches Beyond the Forecast, a new 30-minute show that explores Northern Michigan's weather and its effects on daily life, hosted by Chief Meteorologist Michael Stevens & his team including meteorologists Haley Fiaschetti and John Gross. The show airs weekdays at 4:30 p.m. and will include live weather updates, science experiments, and a newsletter with a planned podcast launch. 9&10 News

- ➤ The Northwest Michigan RV and Camping Show opened Friday at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center and featured 40 new RVs including a motorhome, pop-up trailers, travel trailers, and fifth-wheel trailers. The event continued Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., where visitors met dealers to discuss financing and discounts. UpNorthLive
- ➤ Cherry Republic received a $150K grant from the Michigan Commission of Agriculture and Rural Development to support its nearly $3M expansion project that will add 16,000 square feet of storage space to its distribution center and allow it to purchase one million extra pounds of cherries annually—creating 20 new jobs. - ➤ Consumers Energy will move power lines next weekend for construction on the M-72/M-22 rebuilding project—causing an overnight service interruption for over 2,100 customers. Traverse City Record-Eagle

- ➤ Today, city officials will hold the Rebuild and Roundabout event to start a $25.8M project aimed at improving local traffic systems in Traverse City — the project plans to upgrade roundabouts and rebuild roads. The forecast calls for periods of snow with a high of 46 degrees and winds from the southeast at 10 to 20 mph. Traverse City Record-Eagle
- ➤ A popular pedestrian bridge at the Civic Center is set to be removed today, and West Civic Center Drive will close for one or two days during the project. Officials say a new bridge will arrive in May and be installed in June—an essential upgrade—while the full project will be completed by July 25. UpNorthLive
- ➤ Traverse City’s West End Beach parking lot will be rebuilt and park bathrooms replaced after city commissioners approved up to $387,788.78 for the project on March 23—Popp Excavating will repair the lot undercut by high water levels that began in 2019. Traverse City Record-Eagle
