- ➤ The planned groundbreaking for a $25.8M highway rebuild was delayed Monday morning at Greilickville Harbor Park—bad weather canceled the shoveling—as state and local dignitaries gathered to mark the project milestone. Traverse City Record-Eagle
- ➤ The updated child passenger safety laws will take effect April 2 and require children to ride in proper car seats that match their age, weight and height as shown by the manufacturer. Infants must ride rear-facing until they hit the car seat limit or turn 2, children from 2 to 5 must use forward-facing seats and those from 5 to 8 must use booster seats—all children under 13 must ride in the back seat if one is available. 9&10 News
