- ➤ On April 10, 100 Women Who Care awarded Hoop’s Pet Food Pantry $10,000 to help pet owners in Grand Traverse by providing food and supplies for roughly 500 pets served each month. - ➤ Superheroes of all ages will gather at Northwestern Michigan College’s campus on April 19 for the 10th annual Big Little Hero Race that will offer a day of fun, family activities and experiential learning. - ➤ Following severe ice storms, the DNR is working with local agencies and the Michigan National Guard to clear debris and restore state parks, trails, campgrounds and boating access sites in northern Michigan.
