- ➤ A boardwalk and a parking garage along the Boardman River were partly submerged by moderate flooding downtown. Emergency services closed parts of Hannah Park as rising water levels nearly reached nearby condominiums. 9&10 News
- ➤ The Grand Traverse County Road Commission says South Airport Road will close at 6:30 p.m. today between Cass and Keystone because rising floodwater from heavy rain+snow melt is creating hazards. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Department of Natural Resources activated an emergency action plan Tuesday, Apr. 14 for Homestead Dam on the Betsie River in Benzonia Township due to high water levels; property owners downstream are advised to take precautions + avoid the dam area to allow work crews safe access. - ➤ Bellaire Dam authorities triggered the Ready stage protocol on the Intermediate River — water now stands 12 inches below the dam top — and urged local residents and businesses to pack essential items in case an evacuation becomes necessary. UpNorthLive
