GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • City commissioners will vote on Monday on a special permit that may let the overnight homeless shelter on Wellington Street operate all year—its current permit covers mid-October through mid-May.  Traverse City Record-Eagle
  • Antrim County commissioners voted last month to spend $50,000 of opioid settlement money on transportation & harm reduction. The funding marks the first installment from lawsuits against opioid distributors, with over $1.5 million to be received over the next two decades.  Traverse City Record-Eagle
