- ➤ Camp Daggett has received a donation from the Doll-Loesel Foundation providing new bunk beds and mattresses that are being installed campus-wide. The camp will welcome campers with upgrades like new epoxy flooring and arts and crafts when its nine-week overnight camp begins on June 14. UpNorthLive
- ➤ FenFest 2026 at Grass River Natural Area offers guided nature walks, kayak tours, workshops and a native plant sale from June 4-7. The multi-day event begins with a boardwalk tour at 10 a.m. on June 4 and adds family and adult options. 9&10 News
- ➤ Camp Daggett is upgrading its 12 cabins with new bunk beds, mattresses, and epoxy flooring thanks to a gift from the Loesel Foundation (George and Susan Loesel donated generously). Overnight camp sessions start June 14 and local volunteers help prepare the cabins. 9&10 News

- ➤ Old Town Playhouse Young Company will present Once Upon a Mattress: Youth Edition, a comedic musical retelling of The Princess and the Pea, in June at the Old Town Playhouse (148 East Eighth St.).
