- ➤ Traverse City musician Justin Avery has joined the internationally loved band Chicago after first performing at Friday Night Live. He now sings hits like 25 or 6 to 4 and Saturday in the Park as he brings his local roots to major stages. Traverse City Record-Eagle
- ➤ At 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, the museum's Discovery Gallery will host Summer Storytimes in partnership with the Traverse Area District Library. - ➤ More than 100 middle school students from Traverse City West & East are studying microplastic pollution to design community solutions. They will join a beach cleanup at Clinch Park on Sunday, May 31, from 3 to 5 p.m. UpNorthLive
- ➤ Traverse City Area Public Schools filled 32 vacancies out of 46 for next school year and will continue hiring through the summer. The district offers virtual meetings, credential checks, and in-person interviews while assisting new hires with housing at West Senior High and West Middle School. 9&10 News
