- ➤ JetBlue landed its inaugural flight from Boston at Cherry Capital Airport on Thursday, making it the seventh airline to serve the airport. - ➤ Traverse City Streets Division will shift lanes on N. Union Street just north of Front Street at 6 a.m. Monday, June 9 to complete asphalt repairs in the southbound lanes with work ending Friday, June 13 — all traffic will be directed to the east side, which may cause disruptions for pedestrians, bicyclists and vehicles. - ➤ The Grand Traverse County Jail lobby is closed until further notice because buckling tiles were found in the lobby and bathrooms—corrections office specialist Jo Ann Lenden discovered the issues yesterday and alerted county officials and the sheriff’s office. Traverse City Record-Eagle
