CRIME NEWS

  • The Antrim County Sheriff's Office is asking for public help to locate 33-year-old Kenneth MacQuarrie, a fugitive who fled a Sunday traffic stop in Bellaire after crashing a stolen vehicle into trees and escaping on foot—he is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes and is wanted on charges including fleeing police, driving on a suspended license, leaving the scene of a crash, and unlawful driving away.  UpNorthLive
  • An investigation into possible sexual abuse at the Interlochen Center for the Arts during the late 1960s to 1970s expanded today as more former students came forward with their accounts.  Traverse City Record-Eagle

  • National Cherry Queen Tessa Nico visited Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire today and spent time with residents including her great grandmother Sylvia, who is battling Alzheimer’s Dementia.
