  • Grand Traverse County Health Department officials advise swimmers to avoid Sunset Park beach because of elevated E. coli levels and will resample the water on July 16 with results released the next day — the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy has issued an Air Quality Alert for today until noon Monday due to wildfire smoke.   Traverse City Record-Eagle
