- ➤ The Northern Michigan Small Farm Conference will come to Glen Arbor on August 18—19 at The Leelanau School with workshops, farm tours, and keynote speakers, organized by the Crosshatch Center for Art and Ecology. - ➤ On July 4, ICE Detroit arrested 25-year-old Kleiber Siso Balza, a suspected member of Tren De Aragua, in Traverse City + he faces a warrant from Virginia for burglary tools and a pending larceny charge in Florida while three other illegal residents were also arrested. UpNorthLive

- ➤ Traverse City Area Public Schools approved over $3 million to renovate the Sabin Data Center at 2075 Cass Road—this project will house the district’s human resources and business departments. - ➤ Peninsula Township will appeal a judge’s decision awarding nearly $50 million in damages to 11 wineries that challenged township zoning.
