St. Joseph Catholic Church is hosting its 5th annual fall festival on the Old Mission Peninsula Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.—local residents will enjoy Bavarian food, wine tasting, kids games, piñatas, and a raffle with a $2,500 prize while supporting church programs.

On Monday, Grand Traverse Resort and Casinos announced it will change its name to Grand Traverse Band Economic Development Corporation — a change that better reflects its mission to boost economic development for the tribe and region.
