Betsie River Road in Interlochen, where visitors can meet 10 horses, play kids games, join in crafts, and enjoy cider and donuts. - ➤ The League of Women Voters—Grand Traverse Area is holding a program to update counties' material management plans that will help reduce landfill waste by boosting recycling and composting methods in northwestern lower Michigan. - ➤ Michigan Christmas tree growers have received USDA funds to help MSU research ways to fight two root diseases that threaten holiday crops.
