The Grand Traverse Bay YMCA presented expansion plans on Wednesday night to the Garfield Township Planning Commission that would add about 20,000 square feet to its facility and over 100 new parking spaces.

The project requires a permit amendment and a public hearing is scheduled for November 12—feedback on the proposal will be considered then.
