Good morning, Traverse City.

Traverse City is set to serve as the backdrop for the upcoming Netflix film A Dog’s Perfect Christmas — adapted from Bruce Cameron’s novel — that tells a heartwarming story of love and adversity.

The film will highlight the town’s unique charm during the holiday season.

A $2.5-million federal grant awarded this month will soon expand street medicine training for family medicine residents in Traverse City—funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, the program will improve outreach in northern Michigan.
